The West End is one of Vancouver's crown jewels. Home to English Bay, Sunset Beach, Davie Village, and the world-famous Stanley Park, it is prime real estate. What makes the West End so unique is that while it's just a short walk to Downtown, Yaletown, or Coal Harbour, once you cross into the tree-lined streets, you feel as if you're miles away. Depending who you ask, Sunset Beach is a favourite spot for the locals, while English Bay Beach is for the tourists, but that doesn't stop me from going to both on a sunny day. Biking the seawall around Stanley Park is a must-do for locals and tourists alike. Famous streets surround the West End, including Denman, Davie, Robson, and Burrard. World-class shopping, restaurants and bars are all a stroll away.  If you want to live in the downtown core, and still have the quiet of the suburbs, then this is the place for you.
